Marcel Proust

People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive.  It is as though they were traveling abroad.

  1. Accepting one's death can be very difficult and painful, especially if the person counts a lot for one's life. It's not easy to move on and let go of someone we love with the fact that whatever we do, we can never bring them back even if we recite the rosary million times again and again. But eventually as time passes by, we'll learn to let go of the pain and accept it.
